As domains, engineering and technology have seen a continuous decline in female talent and participation, both for education and employment choices. #TechitLikeHer is an endeavor to support a more gender diverse workforce and give female students the opportunity to develop job-ready skills with the WileyNXT Accelerator program. It is our hope that such opportunities and training ecosystem will attract more female talent to join the tech-led domains.”
Adding to the announcement, Jagriti Goyal, Marketing Head, WileyNXT said, “ The scholarship campaign name #TechitLikeHer is a wordplay on the phrase ‘Take it like a Man,’ to suggest that women have proven their excellence in tech-led domains, and it should no longer be a segment dominated by men. We really wanted to capture the spirit of the programme and encourage more female students from our partner institutions to choose engineering and technology as future career fields.”
