  • Launches executive program in Talent Analytics and Human Resource Management

  • Students gain IIM Lucknow Executive Alumni Status

New Delhi: WileyNXT, India’s innovative learning solution, built to bridge the skills gap, partnered with IIM Lucknow, one of India’s top business schools, and launched an Executive Program in Talent Analytics and Human Resource Management. This is a first-of-its-kind program that will enable intelligent transformation in HR and talent management with Analytics and AI and aligning talent analytics with business strategy.

WileyNXT has made this program for HR professionals who want to build their digital and analytics skills and final year MBA students, who want to kickstart their career in talent analytics in fortune 500 or large staffing companies. This programme will offer a joint certification from WileyNXT and IIM Lucknow along with Executive Alumni Status to the participants.

HR is gradually pivoting from the traditional decision-making process to more evidence - based decision making. According to a recent report by LinkedIn, 92% of talent professionals in India consider People Analytics to pave the way for the future of HR and recruiting. While 71% of companies see people analytics as a high priority, only 22% are currently applying analytics in HR. As the focus of HR is shifting from organization of business to business of organization, this program is designed to transition HR professionals and talent from reactors to anticipators.

While commenting on the need for analytics in talent management, Vikas Gupta, MD, Wiley India said, “The digital era has reimagined the workplace, skills requirement and employee-employer relationship more intrinsically than ever before. The future decentralized organizations will deploy a varied talent strategy, working with remote employees, contractual talent, gig workers, consultants and freelancers. In such a scenario, a data-driven talent management strategy will become a core competency. Organizations are gradually realizing the importance of Data Analytics, Design Thinking, and Machine Learning to design an effective talent strategy. Our executive program in Talent Analytics is a testimony of our commitment to the industries across, to build a problem-solving mindset, and solve real-world business challenges.”

The cutting-edge curriculum is developed by top faculty at IIML including Program Directors Prof Sanjeet Singh and Prof Girish Balasubramanian, and Wiley programme architects Supria Dhanda, Vice President and Country Manager, Western Digital India and Shrikanth Karra, CHRO, Mphasis, Shruti Vijay Jaiswal, Talent Management and OD, Pepsico, along with 50+ business, emerging tech and product leaders of Wiley Innovation Advisory Council.

“With digital transformation of business, Talent Management is also witnessing a paradigmatic shift in its tenets and practices. People engagement and people analytics are the buzzwords in HR practice today. Since a behavioral shift and broadening of ‘mindsets’ of companies and their management afoot, this calls for an overhauling of the workforce and their work ethic towards building ‘embedded’ trust and providing seamless communication. Further, firms must iron out a host of nuanced implications on compensation, performance appraisal, training and development policies and practices. Towards meeting this end, the Executive Program in Talent Analytics and Human Resource Management has been nuancedly designed by my colleagues at IIML and dovetailed by Wiley Programme Development architects.”- said, Prof. D. Tripati Rao, Chairperson, Executive Education (MDP), IIM Lucknow.

The 6 months intensive learning program will provide experiential learning experience by integrating concepts alongside business content. And, will provide exposure to various analytics techniques and algorithms that can be applied in real-world HR scenarios such as workforce planning and optimization, compensation optimization and employee retention, talent sourcing, recruitment and staffing. The program will also have various industry experts taking masterclasses to bring business context to the classroom.
